The Ajax Search feature of the Listdom APS Addon allows users to see search results dynamically, without the need to reload the page or open a new window. This seamless integration means faster, more efficient searches that keep users engaged. The Ajax search works for all search forms that are assigned to a skin shortcode. Also each search form can be connected to several skin shortcodes on a page and search gaming them in Ajax mode.
Full-Text Search for Comprehensive Listings
Dive deep into your directory with the Full-Text Search functionality. Users can now search across categories, locations, tags, labels, and features within your listings as well as titles and descriptions.
Matching Logic
A search form can include several fields, such as categories, locations, tags, features, and labels. Each of these fields can have various values. For example, you can select both Florida and New York as locations in the search form to filter the listings situated in these areas.
The Matching Logic option allows users to adjust the search criteria for taxonomy searches. The default method is OR, which finds listings that match any of the selected taxonomies. In contrast, the AND method finds listings that match all selected taxonomies.
This feature also affects the skin shortcode filters.
