Listings and structured directory data
Use core listing records for the directory inventory, combining content, media, address or coordinate context, and related terms or field data. Builders can define the information a business, property, service, or other listing type needs instead of forcing every record into an unstructured post format.
Categories, locations, tags, features, and labels
Use categories for subject, locations for geography, tags for keyword connections, features for distinguishing characteristics, and labels for visible listing markers. These core terms help operators organize inventory consistently and give visitors meaningful browse paths before they start a search.
Custom fields and attributes
Add core custom fields and attributes for vertical-specific details such as amenities, specifications, dates, or contact information. Configure fields for the appropriate listing categories, use them on submission and listing pages, and include them in discovery workflows where the selected field and search configuration support it.
Capability family
Discovery & Search
Help visitors narrow structured inventory with configurable fields, filters, maps, and result views.

Build core search forms around documented fields such as keywords, categories, locations, price, and configured custom fields. Match the form to the information visitors actually use to decide, so a local directory, property catalogue, or service guide can narrow the same structured inventory in different ways.
Maps, locations, and result views
Use core maps and location context alongside configured result views, ordering, and pagination. This gives visitors a choice between browsing results and understanding where listings are located; map providers and presentation options should be configured for the directory’s content and visitor journey.
Advanced discovery paths
Select APS, Advanced Map, KML, or Pro only when a project needs their documented specialized search logic, map, geographic-data, or advanced field workflows. These optional products extend a configured directory; they do not describe the capabilities available in every Listdom setup.
Capability family
User Workflows
Give operators and listing owners a defined path to manage listings and account activity.
Front-end dashboard, submission, and listing management
Use the core logged-in dashboard for account-facing directory activity. Listing owners can add, edit, manage, and remove their listings from the front end, giving operators a defined workflow for maintaining submitted inventory.
Guest submission and independent forms
Select the Pro Addon when a directory needs documented guest submission or an independent add-listing page. These paths require deliberate setup and are not part of the default logged-in dashboard workflow.
Owner, account, and data operations
Select CSV or Excel for documented data operations, Claim for ownership requests, Connect for listing enquiries, and membership products for their configured account or package workflows. Each is an optional product path chosen for a specific operating need.
Capability family
Engagement
Add the participation paths that help visitors evaluate listings and owners keep records current.

Reviews and ratings
Select the Reviews Addon when visitor feedback and ratings are useful signals for evaluating listings. This optional workflow helps a directory present documented review activity where it is appropriate to its moderation and participation model.
Favorites and compare
Use Favorite to let visitors save listings for later consideration, and Compare to present configured listing fields side by side. These optional tools are useful when visitors need to revisit or distinguish several relevant options.
Claim and inquiry paths
Use Claim for documented ownership and verification requests, and Connect for listing enquiry paths. Both are optional: they help operators direct owner participation and visitor questions into a configured workflow rather than leaving records unmanaged.

Select Membership for listing-side packages, limits, and rules, or choose MemberPress or Paid Member Subscriptions when the project uses those documented membership integrations. Payment and package behavior depend on the selected product and configuration.
Ads, promotion, and listing visibility
Use Ads for advertising-related workflows, Top Up for its documented visibility-refresh path, and Labelize or Rank for their configured label, promotion, or ordering workflows. Select only the products that fit how a directory manages promoted listings.
Booking and auction workflows
Choose Booking when listings need a documented reservation workflow, or Auction when they need a documented auction workflow. Any related payment behavior must be configured for the selected implementation rather than assumed from the listing itself.
Capability family
Design & Customization
Present the same directory data through the views, templates, and design controls your project needs.
Shortcodes, skins, and directory views
Use core shortcodes and skins to place configured listing grids, lists, maps, tables, carousels, search forms, and result views on WordPress pages. Select the view around the way visitors need to browse and refine the directory, not as a fixed layout requirement.
Single-listing presentation
Configure how listing content, fields, media, contact details, and available action elements appear in a selected single-listing presentation. This keeps the details visitors need to assess a listing connected to its structured record.
Builder, theme, and field-integration paths
Choose Elementor, Divi, Bricks, Listdomer Theme, or the ACF Addon only when the project uses that documented builder, theme, or field-integration path. These optional products extend how a team builds or presents the directory; none is a required core dependency.
Capability family
Growth & Scale
Extend a working directory with the selected product, toolkit, app, or theme path.
Agency workflows and toolkit foundations
Agencies can use Listdom’s configurable data model, presentation paths, and selected extensions across client projects. Choose Directory Toolkit or Real Estate Toolkit as documented scenario foundations, and confirm the exact release contents before describing any toolkit as a bundle.
Networked sites and white-label administration
Select Network App for its documented connected-site model and White Label App for its documented administrative-branding path. These apps suit multi-site or branded delivery scenarios only when their capabilities match the project’s operating model.
Mobile directory path
Listdom Mobile App is represented as a pre-order path in current product data. Confirm its current availability, setup requirements, and delivery fit before presenting it as part of a directory’s visitor or business workflow.
Capability family
Machine-readable listings & AI search
Keep listing information structured and configure supported AI workflows only where they fit your setup.
Help crawlers interpret public listings
Enable structured data in SEO & GEO settings so eligible public listing and collection pages can include machine-readable details. This gives supported crawlers clearer context about the information on those pages; it cannot control how an external service crawls or ranks them.
Choose what your AI visibility feed shares
Optionally publish a public feed for AI discovery, choose which listing fields it contains, and configure discovery files such as llms.txt. The feed exposes only the information you select from eligible public listings; it does not guarantee that a crawler will use it.
Let visitors search by meaning
Configure semantic search when visitors should be able to describe what they need in their own words. It is a visitor-facing search workflow, separate from crawler visibility, and requires the supported AI setup.
Choose a directory path
Start with the directory model, then select the capabilities it needs.
Each path begins with Listdom's directory foundation. The listed feature families help identify relevant next steps without implying a fixed product bundle.
Business Directory
Help people find nearby companies, compare useful details, and contact the right provider. Give owners a clear path to keep their business information up to date.
Real Estate Directory
Help buyers, renters, and agents narrow properties by the details that matter, understand where each listing is located, and keep promising options together.
Local City Guide
Make it easier to explore a city by place and category, see what is nearby, and get the details people need before they visit.
Service Marketplace
Connect people with relevant service providers and give them a direct path to ask a question, request an appointment, or evaluate a provider.
Classified Directory
Let contributors submit listings, help visitors narrow a growing inventory, and give operators a manageable way to review and organize what gets published.
Agency
Build directory projects from reusable foundations, adapt each one to a client’s data and design needs, and spend less time rebuilding common workflows.
AI-ready Directory
Make public listing information easier for search tools to interpret. Choose structured data and optional AI-feed settings in SEO & GEO, and configure meaning-based search separately for visitors.
Directory Monetization
Choose how your directory earns revenue, from paid visibility and member access to bookings or transactions, then connect that offer to a clear owner workflow.
Product ecosystem
Choose the product type that fits the workflow.
Listdom is the directory foundation. Add-ons, apps, toolkits, and Listdomer Theme have distinct roles and should be selected for the project rather than assumed to be included.
Listdom
The core WordPress directory and listings foundation: structured inventory, configured discovery and presentation, plus logged-in front-end listing workflows.
Optional add-onAdd-ons
Optional extensions for a specific documented workflow or integration, such as reviews, booking, advanced maps, imports, membership, or a selected builder.
AppApps
Separate products for documented mobile, network, and white-label delivery scenarios. Select an app only when its operating model and current availability fit the project.
ToolkitToolkits
Ready-made, documented scenario foundations for directory and real-estate projects. Verify each current toolkit release before treating any product or configuration as included.
ThemeListdomer Theme
An optional WordPress theme path for Listdom presentation and setup. It works alongside Listdom’s directory data and shortcodes; it is not a required core dependency.

What does Listdom include?
Listdom is the core WordPress directory and listings foundation. It provides structured listing records, categories, locations, tags, features, labels, custom fields, configured search and map presentation, shortcodes, and logged-in front-end listing workflows.
Which features are core, and which require add-ons?
Core Listdom covers the directory foundation, configured discovery and presentation, and logged-in front-end listing workflows. Add-ons are separate products for defined workflows or integrations, including advanced search or maps, reviews, favorites, compare, claims, booking, memberships, data operations, and builders.
Can visitors search by category, location, or listing data?
Listdom documents configurable search forms with keyword, category, location, price, and configured custom-field options. Specialized portal-search or map workflows require the relevant documented add-on and configuration.
Can listing owners submit or manage listings from the front end?
Yes. The core front-end dashboard supports logged-in users managing their listings. Guest submission and independent add-listing forms are documented Pro Addon capabilities that must be selected and configured when needed.
Which workflows can support monetization?
A directory can be configured around documented paid listing, package, membership, advertising, promotion, booking, auction, top-up, label, or claim workflows. The products, payment configuration, and commercial model depend on the project; this page does not state pricing or plan inclusion.
What are apps and toolkits?
Apps are separate products for documented delivery scenarios such as connected sites, white-label administration, or the current mobile path. Toolkits are ready-made scenario foundations for directory or real-estate projects; verify the current release before assuming specific inclusions.
What does AI-ready Directory mean?
An AI-ready Directory can expose structured data on eligible public pages and, if enabled, share selected listing fields through an AI visibility feed configured in SEO & GEO. Semantic search is a separate visitor-facing feature. These options help make information easier to interpret, but do not guarantee crawling, rankings, citations, or AI answers.
