Listdom 6.3.0 brings three substantial changes to running a WordPress directory: native blocks for composing pages, Analytics for understanding directory activity, and Business Data tools for reviewing updates to existing listings. It also adds native WordPress settings abilities and improves search consistency, accessibility, layout behavior, and PHP 8.4 compatibility. Matching add-on updates extend these workflows without making every extension a requirement for the Core plugin.

For a directory owner, the common thread is better control. You can choose how to place a directory experience, see which searches lead somewhere useful, and review business information before replacing local content. Here is what changed and what to check on your own site.

For a directory owner, the common thread is better control. You can choose how to place a directory experience, see which searches lead somewhere useful, and review business information before replacing local content. Here is what changed and what to check on your own site.

Compose directory pages with native WordPress blocks

You can now place saved directory layouts, search forms, the frontend dashboard, authentication, checkout, and listing content using Listdom blocks in the WordPress editor. Editor previews make it easier to see the context of a block while assembling the page, rather than relying entirely on a shortcode pasted into a text area.

The Core integration includes a saved-layout block, 27 listing elements, and eight application blocks. Together they cover common tasks such as presenting search results, letting an owner add a listing, displaying a profile, and placing a checkout or order summary. Supported add-ons expose additional blocks when they are active, so the inserter reflects the capabilities available on the site.

Blocks do not replace your saved Listdom configuration. Continue choosing the skin, filters, and display rules for a saved layout, then place that layout in the editor. Listing elements need the correct listing context, especially when used in templates or template parts. Existing shortcode pages remain supported, so an update does not require you to rebuild working content.

If you are choosing a placement method for a new page, start with the native WordPress blocks guide. For the underlying relationship between a saved layout and a directory page, the guide to displaying listings with Listdom shortcodes remains useful.

Understand activity with directory Analytics

The new Listdom → Analytics workspace brings listing activity, search performance, popular categories and locations, and conversion reporting into the WordPress administration area. Detailed event collection and reports use the Stats add-on. Core introduces the workspace and overview; it does not turn every historical listing counter into a complete event history.

Connect the website through Webilia Connect, activate Stats, and review its settings before interpreting the reports. Manage Stats settings takes you to collection controls, administrator exclusions, default reporting ranges, and retention. This is also where you decide which visitor, search, and engagement events your directory should collect.

For example, a local guide can use zero-result searches to find gaps in its content rather than assuming low engagement is only a design problem. A directory with many categories can compare where interest concentrates. Contact and direction interactions help explain what visitors do after discovery, but an interaction is not proof of a completed purchase or an answered call.

Reporting context matters. Estimated unique views are not a verified count of individual people, and a partially tracked period is not directly comparable to a fully tracked one. CSV exports include reporting dates, timezone, collection window, and coverage information so that context can travel with the figures. The Analytics documentation explains these distinctions and the tracking and privacy choices.

Review Business Data changes before applying them

Business Data was introduced in Listdom 6.2.0 to find businesses worldwide and import selected results as draft listings. Version 6.3.0 extends that starting point with Enrich Listings, Refresh Listings, and History alongside Find Businesses.

Enrichment helps match an existing listing to a business record. Instead of replacing everything because a similar business name appears, the workflow presents candidate matches and field-by-field differences for administrator review. Select the business carefully, choose the values you want, review the estimate, and confirm the changes.

Refresh works with a listing already linked to its business record. That makes it useful for maintaining information without repeating a broad discovery process. You still review the proposed differences; the source record does not become permission to overwrite all editorial choices. A business reported as closed is not automatically deleted or unpublished from your directory.

The surrounding workflow is more practical too. Searches can cover a radius of up to 50 km, selected results remain available across pages, and progress and completion messages make long actions easier to follow. History helps you return to recorded activity, while fractional credit balances are displayed without hiding the remaining usable balance.

These are credit-based services through Webilia Connect. Check the displayed balance and estimate, and distinguish returning to saved search results from starting another paid search. See Business Data discovery, enrichment, and refresh for the workflow and review requirements.

The Listdom Credits page explains the current one-time top-ups and supported usage. Your credits form one shared Webilia account balance across connected websites; they are separate from your Listdom license.

Native WordPress settings abilities for integrations

Listdom 6.3.0 adds native WordPress abilities for discovering and reading supported settings, applying conditional updates, auditing directory setup, and checking frontend dashboard readiness. Each operation has defined inputs, outputs, and permissions, giving integrations a more explicit contract than directly editing arbitrary stored options.

Settings updates require the revision returned by a fresh read. This helps prevent an integration from overwriting configuration that changed after it prepared its request. Setup and dashboard checks inspect readiness; they do not create pages or prove that a visitor has successfully completed a form.

The abilities require WordPress 6.9 or newer. Older supported WordPress installations continue to run Listdom without registering this integration. These settings abilities are distinct from Listdom API tokens and existing REST routes.

Add-on updates that support the new workflows

The matching add-on releases make blocks and richer builder experiences available where those products own the functionality:

  • Elementor 4.0.0 adds Authentication, Membership Pricing Cards, and Membership Comparison Table widgets, with Membership required for its packages. Responsive form, collection, media, and panel controls offer finer presentation choices. The update also improves keyboard access and repeated-form behavior.
  • Stats 2.0.0 provides the event-based Analytics workflow, its collection and retention settings, coverage-aware exports, and a Stats block.
  • Membership 3.9.0 adds an optional Move Listing After Purchase workflow and native pricing blocks. After a completed initial native-engine purchase, one eligible listing can move from the owner’s Default Membership grant to the purchased membership. Capacity and package restrictions still apply, ambiguous cases leave the assignment alone, and renewals do not repeat the move.
  • Booking 3.5.0, Auction 2.3.0, Jobs 2.6.0, and Reviews 3.0.0 add their block integrations and improve repeated forms. Booking also supplies formatted schedule fields for supported dynamic output; Reviews improves keyboard access and form isolation.
  • ACF 2.9.0, Ads 2.6.0, Claim 3.0.0, Compare 3.0.0, Connect 2.0.0, Favorites 2.6.0, Franchise 2.9.0, Google Places 1.4.0, Items 1.7.0, Local Logic 1.2.0, SMS 2.0.0, Team 2.6.0, and Top Up 2.8.0 extend native block coverage. Local Logic also improves repeated SDK output. Membership access rules remain respected in the updated Paid Member Subscriptions and Top Up block flows.
  • Advanced Map 3.6.0, Bricks 1.6.0, and Divi 3.6.0 participate in supported direction/contact tracking when the corresponding Stats events are enabled. Divi 5 support introduced in 6.2 remains alongside Divi 4; the intervening Divi 3.5.1 release fixes Windows path handling.
  • KML 2.5.0 moves Google Maps KML rendering to a GeoJSON-based path, supporting local placemarks alongside supported overlays and linked files. Test complex KML/KMZ sources on the map views you actually use.

BuddyPress, MemberPress, and Advanced Icon move to 2.0.0 to correct their version sequence; those corrections are not separate feature launches. Listdomer Theme and its companion reach 4.9.0 with frontend notice spacing improvements, with theme typography and PHP 8.4 compatibility refinements. The Directory and Real Estate Toolkits reach 2.5.0 with updated bundled dependencies.

More dependable searches and frontend presentation

Repeated searches now preserve saved filters and archive scope and report accurate empty result totals. If your directory combines a saved layout with a search form, test a sequence that returns results, then none, then results again. The result count and the scope of the search should stay consistent throughout.

Presentation improvements include frontend form spacing, keyboard accessibility, mobile profile layouts, Timeline colors, and map cluster contrast. These changes matter particularly on directories with customized forms or layouts: check narrow screens, visible keyboard focus, and cluster readability against your chosen map colors.

PHP 8.4 compatibility improvements are included too. They do not remove the need to test your complete plugin and theme stack before changing the server’s PHP version.

Before updating your live directory

Back up the site and test the update on staging, especially when you use custom templates, paid workflows, or multiple forms on one page. Update the affected add-ons together with Core rather than assuming that updating Core alone supplies an add-on’s new blocks or widgets.

After updating, check a representative directory page, repeated searches, a mobile profile, and the forms your visitors actually use. Review Stats collection settings before relying on Analytics, and try Business Data with a small reviewed set before a larger paid action. If you enable automatic membership movement, test both an eligible first purchase and an ineligible listing.

For update order and general precautions, follow updating Listdom and its add-ons safely. The Listdom changelog and individual product histories provide the complete released-version record.
